Don't know how I ended up there, but anyhow:

Peterborough United Football Club are an English professional football club based in Peterborough, at Cripple Sidings Lane (the name of the road that actually leads on to the property). This is because traditionally the club has provided an alternative to retirement for the disabled, who are employed on the playing staff. Cripple Sidings Lane also has the distinction of providing an official rallying point for the fascist English Defence League, who assembled there prior to their march on 11th December 2010. Peterborough United formed in 1934 and played in the old Midland League, which they won six times; eventually being admitted to the Football League in 1960, replacing Gateshead. Their home ground is London Road and the club nickname is The Posh. Peterborough had previously competed in the Football League Championship, after back to back promotions from the fourth tier, but now compete in Football League One, having been relegated.

I was reading the Beeb yesterday about Gary Johnson's parting of the waves which they put down as a 'couldn't see eye-to-eye on policy' decision, and then today I read that the Son of the Devil is in talks with them. Something fishy going on I reckon!

Posh are just sitting outside a play-off spot (same points, game in hand) and only 6 off top with 2 games in hand. What could be such a serious problem that you couldn't see eye-to-eye and sacked, with a new manager being touted the next day?

I wonder if Pulis has some players to loan out? It's not just the Prem that stinks, it's the whole fucking league from top to bottom - excluding City of course, we're imbecile.

I am having a Mancinio moment? My English usually doesn't fail me, but I was certain the part about Crippling lane was a piss take...
And I think I got there by tracking old City Academy players on Wiki.

Apart from this, which I'm sure is a piss-take, the rest is pretty much accurate:

that was obviously the passage I was referring to. Funny thing is that the same text is used on Peterborough United's facebook page, copied and pasted straight from Wiki.

Ruining football, for sure. He brought them down, though, didn't he? It's a bit like Southgate at Boro last season. Hope it back fires in the same way.
