my thoughts too plus anytime he played we rarely crossed a ball, dont think we played to his strengths once, he was just expected to run around like tevez which he at least tried a couple of times!!!
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I work in Blackburn and the fans there seem to very pleased to have him back after sending him to us for 18 months to recover from his injuries whilst we paid them millions for the privilege.

Sort of like a loan move in reverse, except he came for a rest rather than to get some regular starts like conventional loan arrangements.

I just hope we didnt pay the full fee upfront and by loaning him back to Blackburn we are saving ourselves a truck load of cash.

Terrible signing but I wish him well.

I was listening to an interview with Steve Daley the other day and he was quite proud to have that title!

He's going to be gutted if he reads this.

Was gonna say summat about short memories re Badbuys. The amount of chances Roque got to prove wrong the relatively massive amount of grief he got/still gets were few and far between.

A renaissance at Rovers wouldn't surprise me.

Roque Santa Cruz has returned to Blackburn Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old Paraguay striker, who was signed from Rovers by Mark Hughes in July, 2009, has been unable to force his way into Roberto Mancini's team this season after recovering from injury.

"Rocky", who featured in the World Cup in South Africa last summer, has started only one match this campaign, in the Carling Cup at West Brom in September, and Mancini recognised his need for regular football.

He returns to the club where he made his name as a prolific Premier League scorer after joining Hughes at Ewood Park from Bayern Munich, but his time with the Blues has been blighted by injury setbacks.

Abdisalam Ibrahim is also on the move as the 20-year-old midfielder goes on loan for a month to Scunthorpe, against whom he made his senior debut almost a year ago in a fourth-round FA Cup tie at Glanford Park.

One of the worst signings in the history of our club by one of the managers of the same ikle!!

Abdi signed for the Championship club in time to make his Scunthorpe debut tomorrow against Leeds at Elland Road.

Good (neither great, nor poor) player. Terrible, terrible transfer. Absolutely shocking piece of business.

Good luck to him. May he impress so the club can make some money in the summer.

I have a feeling Blackburn fans will be saying he same as us, he is not the player he was. sad that injuries have left him well short of Premier requirements, Good luck to him, not his fault Hughes paid for him huge till.

With him being fit and sharp I cannot for the life of me see how Jo got on the field ahead of him:

Image

It's madness, despite arguments about left side or whatever, Jo is just shite. Except for I dont believe we paid anywhere near the alleged money up front, and I just wonder whether another one or two appearances would've pushed the fee up by a few million? And as he was never going to be in our long term plans, they put Jo in instead to avoid throwing good money after bad. I doubt RSC would be party to those details anyway, and I do feel sorry for the guy.

He can bang as many as he likes in now as he cant play against us. Who knows he may remember how to score again and come back?
