taken by his old man to the newcastle ground to apologise for his loutish behaviour on Sunday - nice to see a parent taking some responsibility for their kids actions

That's the way you bring up kids. They fuck up and you make them feel the concequences. Not physically but making their face them actions. Credit to his parents.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Yeh take him to the Newcastle ground and tell the Sun about it so we can get a bit of money for doing something wrong. Brilliant!

And meet the players. Probably went for a MacDonalds afterwards.

Should have locked him in a dark cellar & made him watch videos of Mark Hughes, like used to happen to NQDP when he was naughty.

Plus, there's now 'official' proof he's remorseful. Will help his case in any potential banning decision that has yet to be made.

Broken Britain.

Old-school response would have been to put a foot up his ass...he'd remember that a lot longer than a photo opp and being in the paper like some chavtastic twunt.

cheers

Could just as easily be an effort by his Dad to limit the possible punishment. I know that's cynical but that was my first reaction when I saw this on SSN.

For some reason I saw right through it as soon as I heard about it. That's not like me but on this occasion it just screamed PR stunt.
