When you look at some of our options we dont seem to have THAT strong a squad that the media says we have. For example it's rather worrying when Vieira is staggering/lumbering around, and we have used SWP at times when he is clearly not good enough. And as for Jo..........definitely one for Miss Marple that one:

But you have to remember that, although we need 2 players in each position, we have to draw a line somewhere, and our reserves are seen as strong (and haven't failed yet) whereas some of our rivals have benches full of untried kids of very dubious abilities.

So I believe from here Bobby will replace from the top, as in Dzeko, 1 or 2 times a year. I do not believe he has any problem benching top players, as he did at Inter and as Sir Taggart Whiskeynose always did when they had a squad worth having.

As you say staustell, replacements will be from the top. I think we are now in a really strong position and the weaker players that we do have can be replaced when options come up that would be potentially as good as their competitor in the first choice 11.
If you think that Ade, SWP, Jo, Vieira, ( Bridge and Bellemy ) are not going to last out, then thats 6 new players that could come in, those 6 could be then challenging the top players, so it is a win win situation. We also have plenty of time, so that Mancini can try out some of the EDS players before buying. Finally in terms of attracting top players we are now in a much better position than when the new owners arrived. Put all that together and it shows we are in a strong position.
