His name is Neymar

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

His name is Neymar

Postby CitizenYank » Tue Jan 18, 2011 3:50 am

I am watching the U-20 Brazil-Paraguay match right how, and this Santos player Neymar
just scored a pair of beautiful goals back to back. Just amazing speed and a great touch.

Wasn't City courting him around the time we deported Robinho back to his old club?
If we had been smart we would have eaten 'Robson's' contract and signed this kid!!

He is only 18 but something tells me we will see him in Europe very soon.

There were rumors at the time of the Robinho loan that we had been given right of first refusal on him. Chelsea have been chasing him for a while now as well I think.

Well I am sure Robinho probably poisoned his about playing in England. He probably will end up sitting on the bench at Real Madrid or playing with his compatriot at Milan.

No thanks, let him light up the Italian league and some world cups. He would compromise too much of his natural game to make it in the premier league.

His name was neymar, he was from brazil
With blue moon in the air and a his shorts cut down to there
He would merengue and do the cha-cha
And while he tried to be a star
Tevez was better by far
Across the crowded floor, they worked until they scored
They were young and they had each other
Who could ask for more?

Chorus:

At the comsa (co!) comsacabana (comsacabana)
The hottest spot north of englanda (here)
At the comsa (co!) comsacabana
Football and passion were always in fashion
At the comsa.... we fell in love

He looks very similar strength wise to Robinho imo but tbf he seems to have more pace so that would help. The key to all these top Brazillians making it in the PL isn't down to their phsique though, imo it's down to desire. Most of them are just lazy big headed wankers who want to find a team where they can continue being lazy big headed wankers rather than try to adapt.

If Robinho had David Silva's balls he'd be playing next to him now.
