2018 World Cup

I wonder whether people will question giving it to Russia after this afternoons events?

My thoughts are will the dead and injured, and I just hope the greed of those in the upper eschelons of our game now realise what they might have done. Only a day after FIFA & the Russians signed the declaration of appointment.

On that basis we shouldn't of got the world cup because of the 2005 London bombings. Terroists can strike anywhere.

Yeah i think yesterday's events have little relevance in where the WC is going to be held; as it was said, terrorists can strike anywhere; it's the whole Russia organisation that doesn't sound good enough to be hosting a World Cup, while other countries were way better candidates.

But hey, maybe thidea was to give it to them so they will have to improve and build new facilities, etc.?
