Go trolling the old threads.

Passing game has come on a long, long way this season. Either that or he's being more adventurous with it. Anyway, it's clear to see he has a hell of a lot of skill with the ball too.

Who?

Who has "finally" changed their opinion on him, he has gotten nothing but praise on this site for at least the last 12 months, so who exactly?

I recall a certain NQDP taking issue with Nigel and several other people saying he was shite and one dimensional. If I could be bothered I would have a look but it's nearly 11pm and I can't be arsed!!

Apparently our Nige has been called back in to the Dutch national squad. I do hope he tells them to shove it up their backsides, and quits international football for the way they hing him out to dry back in October.

I'd like him to do that. I don't think he will though but if he does he gets my full support

I hope he takes a moral stand and refuses to play for their current boss since it was his choice to use Nige as a scapegoat. (while conveniently deflecting attention away from his own deliberate tactics during the world cup)

Lovely lad who has improved his game this season, but many knowledgable fans overate him in my view. Why is it when we are getting mullered no one ever says"where the fuck is de Jong".People always blame someone else. He's the Teflon Tel of Man City. He needs to carry on thinking more positively about his game imo if we are to win anything.Running ten yards further and passing ten yards longer from time to time. And that's what I'm talking about, winning, not being contenders, which is what we are at the moment. One thing is for sure we have to start accommodating Milner in this midfield to start really bossing teams. At the moment we have too many bit part players.Nige is content to plod, Barry is struggling for pace, Ya Ya goes missing for huge sections of the game, and Silver is struggling to effect goal mouth action. Johnson causes more problems for the oppos than the 4 first choicers, even if he is erratic, because he atleast looks like getting in behind teams. So we are far from having it sorted, imo.Nige'd be rated more realistically if half the feckin crowd didn't look like him, imo, lol.
