Says no manager will want a replay, whereas an unbiased commentator like Johnny Giles says players love playing games, and before the FA Cup all The Meeja were banging on about how Mancini needs to keep our BIG squad happy.

Personally, I think keeping as many of our squad players as close to match fitness as possible will serve us well on the run-in.

Despite what that bilious bald-headed dwarf says!

Any idea when we will play the replay?

We already have matches on the following days:
2.2.2011
5.2.2011
International matches 8-9.2.
12.2.2011
15.2.2011
And the next FA Cup Round is played on 19th...

Only just watched it. Well, fuck me it was nervy for a good thirty minutes though with majority of possesion in our favour we deserved an equaliser. Once again sloppy defending from a corner. Great play by Micah hope he's not fucked, Jo however can just fuck off. However ........................

The game should have been cancelled due to the mud pit!. That was terrible to play on and quite dangerous for picking up inuries, Rugby clubs should never be allowed to share grounds for this very reason alone.

So to a replay, no fear we will do it, but fuck me we always do things the hard way.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

It'll be on the 19th. If we move on to the 5th round we'll make that match up in midweek I'd imagine.

Good game to watch. A draw was a fair result. Dzeko was very good and shows lots of promise. Jo is not good enough for Notts County first team.
We will win the replay easily but need a strong team to beat Villa

At the 78 minute mark, on that pudding of a pitch I would have snapped your hands off at a replay. We can moan all we like about a replay, but its far better than going out, and that was just the sort of game and place we have lost at in the past.

Random observations from the Jimmy Sirrel Statnd; Boateng proved he is a far better C-Half than fullback and looked far more at ease, Vieira though slow again did throw himself into some mighty challenges and won a couple of big tackles for us in the 2nd half when he had to. He legs might be shaky but I was pleased with his commitment at least. Thought Lescott played OK too but Richards was our best player and it was sad to see him get injured - looked a bad one so am fearing the worst.

The pitch was a pudding and the ball bobbled all day; it really did favour them, and the thing we needed today and missed was pace which would have killed them. Dzeko is still a yard off the pace but getting there, whereas Jo is so far off the pace he's actually playing in a different game to his teammates. Also nice to see Zabba square up to that murdering tw*t Hughes and bounce him the next time they went into a challenge.

It looks like we have decided to make FA Cup ties 2-legged affairs this season. At least we are still alive, unlike Spurs, so for that we can be grateful. The draw also gives us a chance to pay Villa back for last week, and they will be sans Bent who is cup tied. Onwards and upwards.

Whatever the details of the game, there is absolutely no fucking excuse whatsoever for having to put out a side containing FOUR central midfielders, a right back at left back, an untried centre back & a below average centre forward out wide, when you've spent over three hundred million pounds on players & had two transfer windows to sort it out.

It's not good enough.

Got out of jail there.

I'd be more comfortable watching 'an evening with Stephen Hawking, unplugged' than watching that again.

The team played like a disjointed collection of people with hangovers who weren't used to each other, or had never met each other, half the time. Agree with Ted to an extent, but Mancini should expect the group of players he put out against Notts County, to deal with them better than that. No disrespect to County, who I thought were pretty useful.

'Specially as Paul Ince is their manager - someone was telling me today about when Ince was at Blackburn a camera man zoomed in on the clipboard he was holding, and it had a single note on it, saying; 'SHOOT'! Football genius. Anyone got any footage of that?
