Players that go off on a stretcher

should be substituted. If you need a stretcher to go off the pitch you clearly aren't in a fit state to play on.

Kiev are appalling. I hope they go out next round. They deserve nothing.

That Popov was an absolute disgrace tonight
(can't remember was he one of the worst divers in Kiev)
And quite properly booed after his 'stretcher act'

The game need s an overhaul refereeing wise as it's a scam.
You get dodgy bung ridden referees dictating games.
You get diving fucking players.
Things like this need looking at without being too clinical.
Cause when you watch the really important games not the ones weve had i meant like finals in in champions league finals etc.
Some of the decisions look like the refs been offered bungs.
Wouldn't surprise me one bit, and players.
So needs a good sorting out.

Yep. Went down on about 10 different occasions, just to get up and run away. It wasn't just one player even, but their entire team. Absolute disgrace. I can't remember another team to epitomize everything wrong with football since maybe morinho's porto.

If you are rolling on the ground and get up 10 seconds later without an injury it should be a yellow card no question. Maybe even send someone out there to give the player a real injury as official punishment. Then see how many keep acting this way

the ref was bent tonight, he bought every single peice of their time wasting, i would go as far as saying it was one of the worst refereeing i have ever seen, i think his bank balance might be a bit better after tonight

I don't think it was so much that he was bent, even though he's from Turkey; but not many people expect a collective culture of diving in a team.
I'm quite sure I've never seen worse, in 45 years of watching football!

These fucking players that go off on a stretcher should be made to wait 10 mins till they come back on...the Turkish ref is as bent as their fuckign league.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I would have strapped him securely to the stretcher, carried him off the playing area, taken him round the pitch, put him in that ambulance we have standing by and driven him to the A & E at Wythenshawe Hospital...with it's 5 hour wait to be seen by a triage nurse...Then I would have made him take some dodgy pain killers and had him drugs tested.

Then I would have got some Ukranian translator to tell him..."How about that for some proper Mancunian time wasting...yer cunt"

Agreed, except he should have to catch the bus and have to wait for it to come like everyone else in Wythenshawe.

John you make a good point, I wonder if he would have vaulted of the stretcher if the bearers had any nouse and were blues, If you are a berer of the said stretcher and read this, please walk to the opposite side of the pitch I bet the player would be off like a shot, If Uefa had any balls with the ref beckoning him on with a yellow card for CHEATING. 1 minute 1st half extra time, you could not make it up. Ref from NEWARK never helps.
