Head to head

Postby Rag_hater » Mon Apr 18, 2011 11:18 am

I am finding it hard to come down from the other day still but the game against Blackburn is begining to creep into my thoughts.
They haven't beaten us for a while but was wrongly thinking that they have been an easy 3 pts for us.
I suppose remembering back to our promo season I think our last game was against them and we won it with wood and work being our best players that day if I remember correctly.
However our head to head with them paints a different picture.

Anything but an easy game as they are fighting for their lives. If we come out like we did against Liverpool and the scum we might have major problems so i hope they get fired up for this one.

I'd be seriousy peeved if we didn't get anything other than 6 points from the next 2 games, regardless of being home or away. Blackburn have been shite and although they've drawn their last 3 at home it's been against relatively average competition. Hopefully this game will bring our awful run of away games to an end, and the cup win brings us an extra step to our stride.

This. We need to get 6 points in the next two because I don't think we will get fuckall against Everton and I would be surprised if we get more than 1 point against Spurs.

I am in total agreement that we have to win at Blackburn but I am under no impression that it wil be easy. Since our promotion game at Ewood Park in 2000 I have had some miserable days watching City there (I missed both of our wins on early season holidays) and never take the points for granted.
