Probably bollocks but I love this guys and he needs to be captain. Not only does he lead by example by his performance but he is one of the most professional and intelligent players off the pitch in the league.
Love Vinny!!

I've always wanted Kompany as captain and thats nothing against Toure who I believe tries just as hard. I just think Kompany has all the traits to be a great great captain for many years to come. He leads by example, knows what it means to the club, commited to the club (I believe), rock solid player, consistant, mature even for his age and speaks up.
Infact put it this way. If Tevez WAS given the armband for the final (I dont know what will happen) Vinny would simply get on with it and do his VERY best for Manchester City. He wouldnt say a word about being discontent, he'd just say what an honour it is to play for City in such an important game. Thats what it takes for me, the guys just pure class.

As for Tevez I don't know, theres something that tells me his days with us are over. Him not being there on Saturday to support his team doesnt sit well with me. I personally don't think hes our captain or any teams captain, though I wouldn't complain if he plays or is on the bench for the final, I just don't think he's got our club in his heart. Its a shame, the man is an immense player and has scored tons for us but I don't think he wants to see it through tbh.

I Think we all know why he has named captain in the first place. Correct me if i am wrong, but he doesn't even speak english and this is his 5th year in UK, so i don't know how he can motivate the squad in half time, speaking in spanish.

His Spanish isn't that good either to be honest.
