I think Villa are (somewhat) justified in booing Barry. Under MoN they were in the race for a CL spot and he said he only would've left them for a club in the Champions League. 2 seasons on and we still aren't there.

That was, because Liverpool were after him and it looked like he was going to them next season. Suddenly the deal fell through and he had the awkwardness of playing for a club for an entire season when he said goodbye and thanks for all the fish to them. He had to leave AV the next season, regardless of what club.

Nowt wrong with blue tinted spectacles, but we're as bad as anyone aelse when it comes to booing I reckon. We even boo current players ffs! Balotelli gets a few boos near me every time his name gets read out. And some people laugh when they hear 'Jo' which is a bit tight!

I was just about to post the same thing. People were still chanting his name even after he scored against us!
