US-based Blues fans can get into the mood for the cup final with the televised screening of the 2010 documentary "Blue Moon Rising" next week.
The Fox Soccer channel will air the highly-acclaimed film on the following dates and times:
Wednesday, 11 May – 8pm ET / 5pm PT
Friday, 13 May – 11pm ET / 8pm PT
"Blue Moon Rising" is a unique look at a football club: from following the highs and lows of a group of obsessive supporters to exclusive access behind the scenes at the City of Manchester Stadium, "Blue Moon Rising" takes viewers on a journey through the first full season at City with Sheikh Mansour in charge.
The film combines unprecedented match day footage and interviews with past memoirs from fans who are quick to reminisce and share their most poignant experiences during their time as City fans. It’s thought-provoking, engaging, emotive and utterly compelling and it depicts a labour of love that many fellow football fans are able to relate to.
The main characters of the film are a group of passionate fans who travel home and away to matches in their trusty vehicle ‘Helios’. Along the way they experience the highs and lows that come with supporting City, along with friendship, love and sadly, loss. Everything portrayed throughout the film is real; real emotions, real infatuation and a real belief in following a team regardless of what life may throw at you.
It's the perfect way to build up to the big day on 14 May!
