I'd never even dream of selling a spare for more then face value.

Its like United fans to 'sell' their season ticket when they can't go! Granted i've missed one home game in 10 years but i gave that away without even thinking about it!

As for the loyalty point thing i'm someone divided, someone has earnt the right to purchase their ticket, even if their not able to attend! however my mate who's a season ticket holder and has been, like me, every fa cup game home and away this year is struggling to get one, i won't feel right on the day if he doesn't get one!

I managed to persuade him that however much he can get for the ticket and he had some good offers (he's skint you see), its priceless to see us win our first trophy of many many to come, so the tight arsed get is now going to wembley, sorry to disapoint, and good luck with the search ye people of ticketlessness.

About the selling above face value, its value is with who buys it and how much they will pay, and if your loyalty earns you a ticket, you should be able to do with it, as you please. Personally i wouldnt sell mine for owt, well maybe for MUFC and burn the fecking place down.

Too true... In days of old (before they invented Spiv), I used to pay big bucks for big games. I remember City v Boro in that game that Fowler missed the penalty - I paid an arm and a leg for that one in particular, but I was chuffed I got tickets.
