Belgium really do seem to be unearthing some potential gems. Perhaps we should buy their whole youth set up ?
Going from centre of midfield to ball-playing centre back seems to be the way to develop defenders nowadays. Surely worked for Rio Ferdinand and seems to be the way they develop Rodwell whom I think will end up as central defender. Was the same for Kompany aswell, played some midfield to gain ball control and then moved back to defence.
