He's a delight to watch. However, this season he often plays very well in the first half and disappears in the second.

I think next season he will be playing well for the full 90 and score more goals.

A few more shots would be fine as long as that doesn't mean he stops making those B-E-A-UTIFUL passes where the ball seems to be gone before he moves his foot. Great shots from outside the box are great when they go in but often do not, a goal scored on the end of a pin point reverse pass that completely undoes the defence is a thing of wonder that pleases the mind far longer.

Shoot! But not every time!

That's more because of the way Mancini gets the team to play in the 2nd half or the way the opposition alter what they are doing to combat our play.

Tbh I recon most of the goals he creates are from positions where he can't score anyway. Most of the time when he gets himself into a position to score & passes instead, it ends up being the wrong choice, as against Spurs when he tried to set up Dzeko 2nd half with an impossible pass when any shot on target could have resulted in a direct goal or a goal for Dzeko from the rebound.

He needs to get some confidence with his weaker foot, a lot of the time when he passes rather than shoots it's on his weak foot

If only he could finish! He's such a brilliant player. Brilliant touch, brilliant passer, fantastic awareness and a great dribbler. He just can't finish, he just can't. For the amount of positions he's been in this season he really should have hit 15-20 goals. Like today shocking miss!

Future of our club without a doubt, along with Micah, Zab, Kompany and Hart.

I like watching him. Bad shot or not.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Same, beautiful player to watch. He just needs to start hitting the net more. The way he works shooting opportunities is incredible.

Two big chances he mucked up today and three in the last 2 matches in total. He will need to work on that, especially shoot quicker. The second big chance in the second half was pitiful, he didn't shoot at all! His composure in the box though, is insane. When he's not one on one, he'll go anywhere. As soon as he's one on one, he freezes.

Is it wrong of dreaming of an orgy involving David Silva, Yaya Toure, De Jong, Kompany and Zabaleta??

He's such a graceful, classy player. The way a ball can be fizzed at him at 50mph and he just controls it first time and glides across the pitch, or takes down a ball that's flown 60 yards in the air as though it requires no effort whatsoever.

My expectation was that it'd be a frustrating season for him, and us, while he adjusted and we wouldn't fully reap the rewards of his signing until next season at the earliest. But he looks so comfortable, and crucially, the three months he won consecutive POTM awards were November, December and January. So that rubbishes the 'goes hiding in Winter' cliché about foreign players, of his ilk.

Personally, I find watching Dave way more exciting than a lightning quick winger. Pace is something anyone can have, but channeling your abilities and always looking as though you're in command, and with time to think, on a weekly basis- that's something only a handful of footballers in the world have. And one of them plays for us.

he doesnt even have to score from these positions all the time, just whack the fookin ball on occasion instead of fannying around like today!!

great player mind.

Agreed, like against West Ham when he had that one on one he should have just put the ball int he corner. In the second half when Tevez put him through he should have hit that first time.
He has the ability and composure just needs to work it!
