High energy, High tempo, high intensity

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

High energy, High tempo, high intensity

Haven't seen that level of performance since the Hamburg game. We sometimes start at that level but we usually tail off - tonight we did it for the whole 90 and it's something we must do in every game from the very start of next season. If we do, we will piss the title race.

I agree but I got the sense tonight that a new self-belief was in them to keep pushing on. Probs the cup final win caused that, and maybe the atmosphere from the crowd, which sounded terrific on my stream.

Calm down calm down :) Of course it was an excellent performance but lets not forget it was against a very flat Stoke side missing their 4 most effective players so it should not be used as any kind of yardstick to measure prospects for next year.

Good though wasn't it?

Oh I know we'll come up against tougher oppos Doug but there wasn't even the most brief spell of tonight's game where we looked lethargic or apathetic - that was and will be very important.
