I'm with you though, I want to see a statement from Tevez, but the thing is, this should speed it up. Managers don't say such things to the camera by accident.

Breaking News: Manici reveals Tevez has told him he 'wants to stay'.

I don't think this is breaking news really. More a reworking of 'he'd like to stay but isn't going to'.
