ha!!! You're damn right I do. Easily the best post this month, year, ever!! Doug's daughter suggested I come back with her for the match but I decided Oz would be the place for me- until that post. Green with envy but very happy for youse.

The original plan was to watch the game as quietly as I would be able, on my own, at home.
Our esteemed site member KUWAIT changed all that...and how glad am I? I met up with Kuwee on Monday in Manchester and had the honour of taking him to his 1st ever live Townley and City game, versus Spurs,...(that is another story)....made arrangements to meet Kuwait and Fidel in Mary Ds for the final.

Worked Friday night til the early hours, checked on here then got minimal sleep.
Contact with Kuwait and Fidel...picking them up at the Brittannia Hotel.
Meet up and off to May D's.

The atmosphere was tremendous and my quiet day evaporated as I got swept away on the tidal wave of Blue emotion. Told Fidel I couldn't handle the pre-match stuff (far too emotional) so disappeared until the kick off. I think the three of us made every pass, ran every yard, tackled every Stoke player and shot every shot during a nail biting 1st half. We needed half time to settle our pulse rates. Kuwee kept vanishing to film just about everything he could. I was drained.

2nd half, much the same but with a lot more tension and a bit of worry coming into it. We scored. I jumped and was tackled by some big daft bloke who was screaming and squeezing me. I think i may have been doing the same to him. I was absolutely delirious with joy. Grabbed by Fidel and Kuwee and Christ knows how many others and just danced and shouted for an age.
Settled down, worried, tense, clock watching, counting down the minutes, blow the fuckin whistle. GET THIS GAME OVER WHILE WE'RE WINNING. I looked around at Kuwee, he was stressed to fuck, blowing hard and shaking his head. Fidel wasn't far behind him in the tension stakes. Kuwee fucked off out. Fidel said Kuwee was having trouble coping with it all...We were all toally immersed.

FULL TIME...I just screamed...The place just erupted like a blue emotional volcano...It was chaos and carnage...paradise and ecstasy in one. DANCING, CHANTING, SCREAMING, HUGGING, KISSING, SINGING, GRINNING MANICALLY AND CRYING AT THE SAME TIME...
Bring on the Community Shield and them rag bastards....I can't fuclin wait.

Saturday night in Manchester.
Working in the cab. Groups of Blues were wandering around, all smiling, grinning and celebrating. Whenever they passed anothe Blue group, there was handshakes, back slapping and lots of laughing.
Those i took home in the cab wre all very happy celebrating bunnies, everyone blue was buzzin.

OBSERVATION,
Cosidering the rags had won the league, I saw very few of them round Town, The 1st cuple I saw I watched for ages. bioth well pissed and stannding on the steps of the Albert memorial thingy in the Square..."Shouting City fans, where are you?" as he passed me, I said "You've no fucking chance of seeing any city fans out here...cos they're either art Wembley or in the pub having a party and celebrating...yer fucking numpty."
A few minutes later, he spotted a group of 4 blues waling a[over the square...he shut the fuck up and fucked off the other way. The City fans hadn't taken any notice of him.
Later, another 3 rags going to Salford. Not celebrating theeir win but crying about ours...Took them to the edge of Town where they had no chance of gettin another cab and chucked them out.
What is it with rags? Why are they so fuckin miserable and angry?

2.40 final wander down wembley way (or whatever its called now) and unbelievably a tout has ticket for city end - best £300 i've ever spent
magic atmos at match, we were so dominant only worry was would we score, feelings etc happiness of all the blues ouside had to be experienced

I started following city in earnest a begining of 76-77 season so have had the full 35 years.

Woke up early.... noticed i was shakin like a bastard. Sorted a big pot of curry for my mates comin round had a big fuck off row with the missus cos i was so tense.
