Dublin trip- rubbish game but worth it, met royalty...

no not the Queen.

We were doing a trip around the best 10 pubs for a pint of guinness, went in the first one on Wednesday afetrnoon and who walks in?

The Goat. Had to go over and have a chat and get the photo done, it was fantastic to meet the great man.

Had a really good time and the build up to the match was great around the Temple Bar area. Fuclin expensive though, around 5 euro for a pint.

Bit disappointed with the number of fans - about 12k from Porto and no more than 3k from Braga. Great stadium, but shite match. Two very average teams.

Goat is everywhere these days!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I loved the place and even though I didn't manage to see the Stoke game or get tickets for the final we had a great time. Temple bar seemed to be the most expensive but there were loads of other little side street bars that were cheaper. My favourite was The Porterhouse on Parliament street. Absolutely cracking beer (even though they don't do Guinness), and it did surprise me but the Guinness is far superior to what we get over here.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.
