Great to be a blue.........

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Great to be a blue.........

Postby crossan » Tue May 24, 2011 6:01 pm

OK I admit it all of those sceptical periods have gone, all of those false dawns have evaporated, the good times are here,I was wrong to whinge and whine,I just could not believe that success was so close and it is here now and it is blue moon all of the way.
I am City til I die,
I am City til I die,
I know I am,I'm sure I am,
I am City til I die.

Halleluiah!!!!

This winning business feels really good doesn't it?! I hope we keep this spirit going in to next season. There seems to be a real feeling of momentum building behind this team... what a finish to the season!!!... 2012 Premiership Champions??

OK Crossan we know you've repented.

This! Is proof John has lost the plot, and I am glad to see it! I am finally recovered from sitting next to you at the Notts match!

Its not tablets or anything like that its just that it has been so long (35 years I am reminded) since we have had a side that can live with the best in the premiership and can actually win things, its such a shock to the system that I think that I am going to wake up and find that its all a dream and that its still the bad old days......................he he.

It's definitely a dream come true and it's been such a long time since I watched City doing so well. I can still remember the euphoric feeling in 1968 when, after beating that toffee team in an evening match, the loudspeaker announced "ladies and gentlemen, we are now top of the league".

Happy days are here again, glory days are here again. Happy days are here again, glory days are here again. Happy days are here again, glory days are here again.[/scroll]
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, it's just possible that you haven't really grasped the gravity of the situation.

You used to say it wouldn't feel right with all the money we've spent.

Simon,
I am a man of many tongues...just ask the women in my life...:-)

Florida,
Recovered?...so you think. The effects of sitting next to me (versus Notts county) are now deep rooted in your psyche. They will silently feast on your brain cells and eventually your head will implode...Check out Mikhail's post...I got to him...:-)

....and Slim is right...where's the real Crossan?

You're not wrong there John......on the one hand it's going to be a long, boring, miserable summer waiting for next season to start, whilst on the other it's going to be a long, euphoric summer wallowing in City pride and City daftness.

Definitely don't know if I'm coming or going; but who cares ??

It's always great to be a Blue, it's just a different type of greatness we're feeling ;-)
