That could've been the XI best players in the world who don't currently play for Barcelona and Barca still would've won comfortably. Their football is a joy to watch. It seems safe to say it now, but I never really felt United had a chance.

Wasn't going to watch the game but changed my mind at the last minute; glad I did as we were treated to a footballing masterclass by Barca.

Thought the scoreline mightily flattered the Scum; it could/should have been a cricket score.

Thought the referee gave them a free hand re all the fouls they committed, before issuing a few, token cards late in the game.

Apart from being unable to cope with Barca's fluid play and system (master tactician Baconface at fault here ??), for lengthy periods in the game the Scum just looked like a long ball team; a sort of second rate Stoke with no Plan 'B'.

Giggs' legs have just about gone (either that or his mind was elsewhere thinking of Imogen).

Whenever the cameras zoned in on him, Pratini in the VIP box looked like a miserable, fat lump of jelly - the number of players the Scum need to buy will jeopardise their chances of complying with his FFP regulations, so perhaps he was having second thoughts about the wisdom of what he's doing.

Camel gob's pitchside interview summed up how ungracious the Scum are in defeat.

On this showing, Barca might just be able to give City a game.

I'm having a piss funny day...me old man (fanatical Rag) came online whilst he was in Luxembourg and he nearly through his pap top across the room such was my glee and uncontrollable laughter...sent me brother (fanatical Rag) a snigger x 50 for each Barca goal (I know he gets the texts as me mate says he goes fuckign mental)
