Agree, i mean it is such a rare thing for a young lad to get pissed and have a kick off in one of our Great Brittish towns - it just never happens! so embarrassed...

If you think it's ordinary for young lads to get pissed and kick women in UK then we can merget this with Broken Britain thread right now.
And in past fifteen years Academy graduates involve people who have been convicted of armed robbery, shoplifting, theft, assault with intention to cause bodily harm few times. It's like we are some sort of criminal Academy where you either become professional footballer or go to jail.
We are trying to sell our Academy as place to be for mort talented youngsters in the world. Do you think their parents are impressed with our "strike rate"?

I was head butted by a girl a 100 yards from my home after a night out. I was giving directions and got headbutted for my trouble. I lost control and reacted. I spent the night in A and E with five stitches to the eye. Not saying its the same situation but you dont know the whole situation. So before making your wise ass comments, try taking a headbutt to the face and try not to react. No one's perfect and people react worse after a beer. I dont have a history of this and no crim record, but in my opinion if a woman can hit like a man, she has to be treated like a man.

How many kids go through the academy, how many make it to be able to make a living from football and how many end up fucked? Work it all out, factor in the already mentioned culture of broken britain with mind of the impoverished inner city catchment areas and then take a bucket full of over reaction and i think weve found some common ground.
You can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink.
Micha Richards came from a grim part of Leeds - we screwed his life up didnt we?
It will allways be some one elses fault and never the fault of the perp with some.

The Academy's only been going 13 years. Only products that have been convicted of an offence so far to my recollection are that Tandy guy, the goalkeeper who tried to blackmail Micah, and Barton - only one of whom was a 'graduate'.
Besides, currently in Britain 0.13% of the general population are in jail, whereas 0.61% of MPs who won seats in the 2005 election are currently serving time. Now that's what I call a bad record.

nice MP stat
You're forgetting Kelvin Etuhu, Laquan Esdaille-Biney and even Ashley Sestanovich
If that's all there are then the ratio is something like:
38(?) make it into the 1st team (at least once), 6 go to jail.
in 13 years we've had, what 300 Academy kids? If so, 2% have done time.
and actually, of the 38 who "made it", 2 (c5%) have been jailed. So far

Bradley Wright-Phillips got suspended sentence if my memory serves me.
If i'd be looking at those stats as non-City supporting parent of top football talent , I'd choose some other Academy for my kid for sure.

It is ok for mothers to cheers and scream for Justin Bieber, but dads yelling for Miley Cyrus, clearly he's a perv.
For anybody misunderstanding my post; all I am saying is: "If you ask, you should be prepared to receive."

Mate, when I was a kid I was standing in the queue at Burger King in Manchester, there was a young couple in the queue next to me and a group of about six 'girls' behind them. One of the 'girls' tried to push in the queue and I think the girl who was with her boyfriend moved forward to stop her. Everyone of the 'girls' in the group started going crazy at the girl and tried going for her. Her boyfriend stood in front of her and took that many punches to the face I lost count. They didn't stop when he stood in front of her because they knew he wouldn't do anything back. The police turned up and these 'girls' ran off. The guy was covered in blood but didn't make a scene, just talked to the police and then went on his way.
And then last year I read a story that a gay couple (male) were on a night out when they were attacked by a gang of women. One of them died after being stamped on the head by one of the women's high heels.
We choose what decision we would make based upon our past experiences.
