That's at least 9 of the U 18's I watched last season and some will still be U 18 this season.A very interesting mix and fantastic for the young ones if they play with the likes of Bellers/Ned and co.

Is it not a bit of a surprise that razak and assulin are not in the USA on tour on the basis that the kid Suarez is with them?

Assulin - no - i think he needs proper individual fitness training for now. Not fit enough to be with the first team - it'd be too intense.

Razak - no idea.

I'd love to MJ, Roman, Cole, Assulin get game time alongside Ned, Bellers, Bridge and Jo. It'd be bizarre. Wanna see that Silva Jr bloke too.

It's over, I was once a believer but faced with that reality I decided to join the Hollywood crew, not really. I'd rather eat my own foot. Forget the quota it's over.

Very surprised Ball never got a club after being released by us. By no means a world beater but a solid fullback who'd do a job at low to mid prem level

And Ben Thatcher he can do a job for ya........ he he

As regards MJ dam shame for the lad same as Paul Lake very talented but injuries fucked him now we gotta accept it n move on no room for passengers n hangers on where we're goin. Release him

Report from OS, City won 2-1 -

Andy Welsh could be happy enough with the start to a season that will pit his young Blues against Europe's big guns in the brave new NextGen Series.
Two months before Barcelona send their new golden crop to face City at Hyde, Moss Lane provided enough of a test as goals from Joan Angel Roman and Kieran Tripper made sure of victory.

But if City thought this would be a nice gentle introduction to the new campaign, they were given a jolt with just a minute gone when Courtney Meppen-Walter brought down Shaun Densmore in the area.

He had tracked the midfielder well enough but his challenge lacked precision, and Damion Reeves stepped up to the penalty spot to beat Ian Lawlor despite the goalkeeper going the right way.

However, it was the Blues - bolstered by the presence of Craig Bellamy in attack and Nedum Onuoha at the heart of the defence - who played the better football from then on.

Wales striker Bellamy had one good effort deflected past for a corner before a delightful bout of passing between Michael Johnson, Bellamy and Gai Assulin set up Joan Angel Roman to stroke an equaliser after 34 minutes.

Bellamy sent a free kick screaming over Ollerenshaw's bar a few minutes later before skipper Kieran Trippier unleashed a great shot from range that gave the Alty goalkeeper little chance.

Having secured that 42nd-minute lead, City coach Welsh made a few second-half substitutions, with Bellamy cheered and booed in equal measure when he was replaced by Devante Cole on 55 minutes.

Cole, who signed a new contract this summer, might have had a third City goal after weaving into the penalty area late on only for the hard-working Ollerenshaw to save at full stretch.
