Contacting City by e-mail

Postby craigmcfc » Mon Aug 08, 2011 5:59 pm

Does anyone know which e-mail address is the best one to contact the club on? I've e-mailed both supporterservices@mcfc.co.uk and the general mcfc@mcfc.co.uk but I'm getting absolutely nowhere.

A very shortened version of the problem is that when logging in to the online shop I am only getting a 5% discount whereas I should be getting the full 10% season ticket discount. I've rung and been told I'd get a call back, nothing, e-mailed and got nowhere. If anyone knows of a specific e-mail address for someone higher up at the club it would be much appreciated

Cheers lads

Did the smiley face mean that was tongue in cheek or is that his legit address? If it is then that's where I'm sending it next.

Yeah it was tongue in cheek, but it could be his email.

I actually had problems with them too. But I just emailed supporterservices@mcfc.co.uk but it takes some time. Give them at less three bussiness day, they will sort it out.

A while back i had a question about an order from the site and i used the first adress, the supportservices@mcfc.co.uk and they replied after a day, but i received the mail in the spam section. Check there, maybe who knows.

Cheers

Sent Danny Wilson an email last night and have just received this back -

Hi Craig

Thank you for your email and apologies for the on-going issue.

I’ve asked a colleague to look into and resolve this as soon as possible.

Somebody will be in touch.

Kind regards

Danny

I may finally be getting somewhere!

Danny is a top man Craig but very very busy.
Give him a couple of days and then send him a gentle reminder if no one has followed up.
He genuinely plays his role with supporters at the heart of it and will appreciate the reminder.
Worth his weight in gold but hope for our sake City don't reward him by promoting him up the ladder, that far he loses touch with fans.
Sorry Danny but you need to get a clone sorted in your succession plan :)
City are coming to get you!

I'm flying over for the swansea game on monday but mine and my brothers blue membership cards haven't arrived yet.

Do you think it would be worth e-mailing him directly, or contacting one of the other e-mail addresses?

Possibly though there was an update regarding the blue cards on the OS yesterday. Have a look on there first

Your description appears to be pretty damn accurate as I've just had a phone call from City telling me they're on with it

Thanks again to all who helped. I got an e-mail this morning confirming it's all been sorted. Apparently Kitbag were only giving a 5% discount to all gold members who ordered from the online store, instead of the 10% we should all be getting. It should now be sorted for everyone.
