He went off in mid-week playing for the Ivory Coast....apparently it was an ankle thing again

No word on it anywhere since

He didn't look anywhere near fit at Wembley though...although lots of them didn't look at the races

Looked fine today in training although somebody decided he was looking thinner and maybe Ramadan( how do you spell it?) was causing him problems.

Savic over Lescott and no Yaya? You would get long odds on that lineup.

Do we really need NDJ and Barry in the same team at home against Swansea?

Correct Slim i would get long odds.I was under the impression Yaya was struggling, thats the only reason i left him out, otherwise he would be in the team without doubt.I really think Savic is a far better player than people realise.I have been very impressed with him in pre season he looks a player seriously confident in his own ability who can both defend and offer a very good passing game.Very much so reminds me of Vinny from what i have seen of him so far.
As i said that was my choice and i fully expect Lescott to start on monday.

So was I, but if he is okay to play you play him, he stands out even in this superstar team.

Savic I haven't seen enough of, but he looks the part at least. I think dropping Lescott is a mistake though, he was very good towards the latter part of last season and on his day can make Kompany look like the weak link.

Shame we haven't signed Nasri yet. :(

Swap Silva to Nasri's side and let AJ play on the right.

And Lescott/Kompany and de Jong/Yaya are backwards.
