Credit where credit is due, he was alright. My new-found more favourable opinion of the former rag twat may well have been influenced by a superb second half performance from the team though.

He was surprisingly pro-city but he looks like a fish out of water, some moments were very awkward and cringeworthy

Wouldn't say he was pro city mate, I'd just say he was fair. Which is exactly what we ask. Let's see how long it lasts...

Aye, I thought that too.

He seemed to go silent for about 5 seconds on a good few occasions with Chamberlain expecting him to say something.

His attempt at rapport building with bobby was awful.

I agree with this. And think that "byast" is the best word spelled wrongly that I have ever seen.

Reminded me of the first few times Gary Linekar was in front of the cameras as a presenter, I think he'll settle in over the season. He has to stop swaying around so much when stood up though. (and he's still a scabby little rat faced fucler.)

I'm glad he's a pundit...whenever we win the title whether it be this year or 47 years time, I want the little fucker there to see it squirming in his seat.

I think he's just building us up hoping for the fall, otherwise he's got more intelligence than I've given him credit for.

He was the icing on a beautiful cake! Watching him squirm was fantastic. But what about sky's main commentator pointing out to the entire audience watching that etihad means united as soon as we went one nil up? Fucking BYIAST :)

I know I was waiting to see how long it would be before someone made that comment about the stadium, the first game from sky. I wonder how long it will take ESPN.

So, we are united in Manchester; someone's gotta be!

I'll let you all use that one ;-)

I've no problem with Ratpigcunt tonight & I can put up with him in the future so long as he's fair in his comments about our performances. I must admit I was surprised at how fair minded he was & actually he was less snidey about us than most other media people. Let's see if he remains so when we threaten his rags.

If he's to stay in the job, he needs to lay off the amphetamines though.

Well I was a bit dismayed when I saw him sitting there. But then, although a bit nervous, he came out with the best punditry I've heard on there for a long time. He knew everything about every weekend match, and all the teams and players involved. So many of them on there just talk out of their arse and they've clearly never watched half the action, usually including ours.

I didn't think any bias came across at all and he can have another go. Obviously still a cunt though.

And 'MNF' always shows the weekend action before talking about the game in hand. No need to get upset.

Quite funny to see the ranting at the start of this thread, the MNF show is Sky's first chance to show the weekend's highlights package at primetime so they do that before the build up to the game, meanwhile people on here are frothing at the mouth :-)

Ratface looked uncomfortable throughout but not cos he had to praise City, more because he's a bit shit. Couple of word substitution fuck ups and very cringeworthy talking to Mancini "I bet <fumbling over his words> I never expected you to be interviewed by me", sounds like a decent bet ratboy, get on it! Presumably MNF is his regular gig now, hope we don't feature much in that case
