silva for me - i don't generally chop-off to the airy-fairy types but he was everywhere. dzeko and milner were class and worked hard, as did barry. yaya was good when he could be arsed (rarely), lescott/komps were a bit poor, as was the ref for (as usual) allowing kevin davies' antics.

richards was his easily bruised yet energetic self and i'm still to make my mind up about kolarov. honestly.

aguero - worked hard and missed 2 easy chances. good - the pressure is off a bit now.

good away win.

To trot out a traditional footballism "I'd be worried if he weren't in the right positions to score the goals", on another day he'd have had a hattrick, thought he played really well though. I can't remember too often in the past where we would say we were less effective going forward when Tevez came ON :-)

And as you say, a bit of the pressure/expectation is off and next week he'll have had another week getting up to fitness and training with his new teammates

Dzeko I had to say last week had his best gzme for us.

This week I had to admit I was wrong as he was even blody better. 3 goals in last games against prem opposition and his touch has improved massively. Even better is he looks sharp and confident. Last season I thought I'd out run him, this season he's taking players on at the byline and leaving em for dead. Great bit if skill his goal was too.
Tracking back is overrated.

Silva. Dezko. Milner.

Gareth Barry played a very good game as well.

Voted Dzeko, but Milner was a close second, with Barry, Silva and Richards trailing them.
I thought Kolarov was really good today as well.

Edin for me too.

So chuffed for him. My one concern at the start of the season was whether or not Edin was as good as his record suggests. He's starting to show his class. Not just his goals but his link up play and especially his touch have been very impressive.

I fancy both him and Aguero to hit 20 goals plus this season.

Easily Milner's best game for us, there were a lot of good performers unfortunately none of them at the back.

Ahhh so that's where the vote came from. That said, he did have one of his better games yesterday

Džeko was superb, Silva, Barry and Milner as well.

Kolarov did ok, no more of those useless shots from all over the place.

Dzeko for me, closely followed by Barry, Milner and Silva. All of them played a useful part in the win.

Well he did have one useless shot towards the end where he ran round it to get the shot on his left foot, then skewed it well wide
