That's some heavy Balotelli homering. As things stand, I'd have him behind Nasri, Johnson and Tevez for that spot you have put him there. In fact, I'd have SWP ahead of him as well.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

haha you know I love a bit of Balo....and I would agree that he's behind Nasri and Tevez

he is 100% in front of Shaun though, much as I love SWP

and I think AJ is just as frustrating as Mario albeit in different ways....neither delivers enough or with enough consistency at present

We'd have four 'little men' all trying to drop deep and crowding that 'in-the-hole' position. I can't see Silva, Aguero, Tevez and Nasri not getting in each other's way. Could be wrong though.

What about the Spanish National team, the midfield and forward line don't exactly come from the land of the giants eh?

City have been linked with De Rossi and Mancini has confirmed his interest in the Roma star.

"I need something else in midfield because we have limited options," he said. "I have Barry, De Jong, Milner and Toure - but if you consider the number of games in the league, the Champions League and the FA Cup that is not enough.

Strange Bob wants yet another player there & doesn't mention Nasri at all seeing as he's going to use Nasri there, unless of course that's complete bollocks.

This for me.

I concur.
This is the team for me, 100%.
I love Tevez, but with him in the side, we aren't a team. Will we score more goals with or without Tevez? 2 Goals a piece for our current front 3 in 2 games tells me we will.

Tevez will be one of our best players if he stays imo.

Mancini will keep at least 2 players who can drop back in front of the defence, alternating between DeJong, Barry, Milner & Yaya & use 3 of them in some of the bigger games. Then he'll just mix & match the rest of the squad. The strongest 11 will be whoever is in the best form/fitness out of those players at different stages of the season & will probably fluctuate accordingly. It may even involve Balotelli at times if he gets his head out of his arse.

And because those quotes came from before we had signed him. And he's not even officially signed yet anyway...so, ya know.

Subs: a decent second choice keeper, Toure, Zabaleta, Milner, Barry, Johnson, Tevez

You don't even want Kolarov on the bench?

With seven places on the bench and far superior player in Zabaleta available who can play both fullback positions and defensive midfielder? Absolutely not. Kolarov is esaily the weakest link if you put those 6 outfield players there and add Kolarov.

There's still time for a cheeky bid for Lahm.

Whilst that is a tremendous team, not very big with only VK, JL & ED over 6 ft. Could have major problems at set pieces in either box
