Recompense For The Arsenal Fans Who Went To Yesterday's Game

Postby King Kev » Mon Aug 29, 2011 1:56 pm

The club are going to offer to cover the cost of a future away game for those who went to the swamp yesterday.

Now, I was at Middlesbrough when we lost 8-1, I'll expect a cheque in the post eh.

I suspect the fans would rather see the money put towards the cost of new players.

You mean the day we qualified for Europe?

That scoreline looks quite funny given where both teams are now.

I lost alot of respect for Sven that day.

It's fucking pathetic if you ask me. Those fans travelled to Manchester to support their team, which they did for a change, so why should they get anything in return?

As you hint KK, do clubs now have to give fans money back because they played shit, shouldn't the fans want to be there regardless?

Arsenal fans aren't used to losing in that manner.
They're probably still at home thinking "what the fuck happened"

You make a choice to go to a match knowing that this can happen. I wouldn't refund them nor would I expect a refund if it happened to City.

Is this the beginning of the end of Arsenal?!?

How did they let them selves get in this kind of position?
Their transfer policy, for the last two seasons, is rubbish.

How the hell do they think to qualify for CL spots this season, or next, and under the new rules, they might disappear to muthafuckin midtable.
