Well thanks for sharing mate, i have a real problem watching Lescott. He's comfort on the ball and creativity is the worst
i have ever seen from a professional footballer and dont get me starting with he's passes. He reminds me of Carew big and tall, but dont have any special things he can do very well.. I also can not understand those who prefer him over Kolo, that is unbeliveble.
I really think Kompany deserve better, it's harsh but the truth.

Just watched the highlights again and Lescott is at fault for VDV shot at goal..the cross to Bale(Which should have been a goal) should have been stopped and also the free header from crouch although he may have been forgiven if it had of gone in as it was an excellent cross.

My stance still stands though.....Lescott has a lot to improve on.

City Spurs, Vincent Kompany completed 42 passes out of 47 Lescott completed 39 out of 47, yeah lets sack him FOR THREE FUCKING MISSED PASSES MORE THAN VINNY IN 90 MINS.

Pillocks.

Kompany can make a pass for Dzeko, Lescott will never pass to another than nearest man.
So dont see your point.

True he does make mistakes, what about the other 5 defenders ? How many mistakes have they made in comparison to Lescott & why is it, seeing as he's our worst CB, that he seems to be the bloke who ends up marking, Crouch, Davies, Kenwyne Jones etc ? Could it be that Vinny isn't prticularly good at coping with them & hands them over ? And are Lescott's efforts to close down, worse than Vinny turning his back on Klasnic's shot after it had gone through Lescott's legs (as he put his body in the way of the ball after Micah allowed Petrov to cross the ball) ?

Imo, you hang one, you hang them all.

I personally wouldn't say we had a weak link at the back, but I would say we have occasions at the back when we still look vulnerable.
I still can't say I'm happy with our ability to defend corners or set pieces. This is the way we are set up tactically rather than an individual weak link.
If you say Lescott is the weak link, who do we have or who would you buy to significantly improve the team ?
