Mark Bright tells BBC Football Focus Special that Shaun Wright-Phillips is currently in a hotel in London waiting for permission from Manchester City to speak to a club, believed to be QPR.

Just heard him interviewed on SSN - he said Thanks to all the fans for the support during his ten years of service, he won't forget us and a part of his heart will always be Blue. Bless him.

I do believe a tear or two might have moistened my eyes.

I'll second that. Just watching that little interview on SSN it's clear he will like to still be with us. Nice words from the little fella.

Absolutely gutted. Was hoping he might have played his way into Mancini's plans with his pre-season form but it wasn't to be. Probably for the best all round, should be a good buy in Fantasy Footy if he's gonna be playing week in week out to.

Just shame he has to play for that utter cunt Colin Wanker.

All the best Shaun, City legend and glad he got to be part of the squad that won our first trophy for so many years before moving on.
