I'm getting an overwhelming sense that those who prefer standing are the older lot.

I don't mind standing. I just enjoy sitting down. And I enjoy the process of leaping to your feet if something happens. You know that rolling thunderous sound of the chairs flipping up in anticipation? I like that. It kinda dilutes the experience if you're just stood up all of the time. And the legs get tired.

I love to stand in the old days you didn't get the sound of chairs flipping when something good happened you got the sound of the crowd and a surge forward. I was just a young lad on the kippax and standing at away games but I'd go back tomorrow seats are shit and we've not used ours for 3 or 4 seasons
