I would say that he is a very good player but has the potential to be a great one and playing in a team like City of today will help him achieve that potential. Obviously too early to judge him as he needs to settle in (no withstanding his performance against Spuds). Silva had a slow start for us and look where he is today ! Nasri has the advantage of EPL experience so he will shine sooner.

Tbh I don't understand the thinking that it's too early to judge him. We've all seen him play, over a period of time, for Arsenal. He could fit in better or worse for City, but he's never going to be Messi or Ronaldo, he is what he is. We've signed the bloke we saw playing for Arsenal; sometimes brilliant, sometimes not that good, but a great addition to our squad that gives us a potential extra creative threat to choose from that we didn't have before.

he looked fine v spurs.

this will sound silly, but i dunno if Samir's a lefty or a right, but if he's a lefty he cannot even wax his pole, and if he's a righty, he cannot let "the stranger" perform his magic on him.

Clearly the hand injury would impact him either way.

Good call...

cheers

So does he start against blue scouse or does it depend on a visit to Mrs Palm and her five lovely daughters eve of match ? ;)

Roberto should take more of a hands on approach to his team selection to determine how fit the lads are.

cheers
