I think we'll not only draw, but beat them.
Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes believes his team have not met a side as strong as Manchester City this season.
Bayern have not conceded a single goal in their last nine matches in all competitions after losing their opening game of the season 1-0 to Borussia Monchengladbach.
They come up against a Manchester City ouftit that have scored 24 goals in the same amount of games this season.
Roberto Mancini's side struggled to a 1-1 draw at home to Napoli in their UEFA Champions League opener a few weeks ago, while Bayern Munich won 2-0 away at Villarreal.
Despite being new to the competition, City have a wealth of players with experience in the tournament, including Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri and Sergio Aguerro.
And, after their near-perfect start to the Premier League season, Heynckes is under no illusions regarding the test that awaits his side at the Allianz Arena.
He said: "It is going to be a real challenge for us. Manchester City are currently on a par with Manchester United and that says enough really.
"They are a top European team. I am very impressed by them.
"No team has really put our defence under pressure yet, but I expect them to test us.
"It is important that we pick something up as that would take us a huge step forwards."
