Was a gladiator in goal today, and deserves special mention for that performance.

Also loved the rage he showed after their second. He was the only one who acted like it was a Champions League game away to Bayern, let alone played like it.

And just to throw in something knee-jerk, I'd make him captain.

Top performance and total commitment.

Loved the tirade at the ineptness of the defence after the 2nd, wouldnt want to be sat near him in the changing rooms.

Well done Joe, Legend

Agreed. At least Joe actually bloody cared about the result.

Both goals were rebounds from his excellent save and a double save at that for the first. Where were the rest of the defence to clean up to help him out?

he's the only one to escape censure tonight and an easy MOTM for me.

I think Joe will be annoyed at himself a little at least for not getting both those saves away from goal. He managed it in the 2nd half on 2 occasions but sadly the first half ones ended in the net.
I am not having a go at Joe but he is a perfectionist so it will rankle a bit but not as much as the team capitualtion in front of him.

agree with this, thought joe should have caught the 1st one and pushed the 2nd one away, made some excellent saves though.

Joe was amazing. His double save was superb. I liked Micah too. I must say though, another Kompany challenge that easily could have been a pen... what's up with him??
