Latest Academy History Session - Hatton, Vieira & Marwood

I promised to keep everyone up to date with the work we're doing on the Academy.

The latest History Session took place last week and a news story about it appears on http://mcfc.co.uk/Video/Features/City-A ... cky-Hatton

This was about supporters - a key feature and one that was supported fully by the Club. Brian Marwood & Patrick Vieira attended the session and we did much of it at Ricky Hatton's gym.

The idea was to talk about "Who Said City Couldn't Play" (1930s song); 1 million fans on the streets for a City homecoming parade (largest ever in Manchester); average and record attendances; the Poznan; Blue Moon; Bananas; City On The Hill; location of fans; celebrity fans; the Trawler 12 and so on...

It all went well and Ricky was on top form. I did a presentation on it all in Ricky's boxing ring.
Latest book "Manchester The City Years" - the full story of the Blues from the 1860s through to QPR 2012
