As does £250k a week for a kid who's achieved nothing yet. Wonder what platini has got to say? Nothing, by any chance?

The same was thought of Robinho at the same stage in his career and look how that turned out. There are no guarantees in football and Neymar already has a reputation for being a mard arse so who knows how his career will pan out

Obviously the numbers are bollox. Why would they pay more than his release clause? And afaik Real Madrid have a fairly reasonable wage structure in relation to their income.

He's hardly been pulling up trees since he left Madrid has he? So all in all not quite the career that had been predicted for him. And I never said he had had a shit career, I was just implying that he hasn't lived up to his 'superstar' billing

Neymar will be protected in Spain. In England, he would be traumatised by not getting a free kick every time he chucked himself over & by being asked to run about a bit when he gave the ball away.

Neymar will become a great player in Spain or Italy. He wouldd never reach his peak in the premier league. Few Brazilians do. Real Madrid or Ac Milian would be great for the young talent.
