he'd be fantastic cover for Jan, and still have a few years in the gas tank. It seems "possible" but i just don't see it coming off. If we can really snap him up for 5M in Jan i think we'd all cream our jeans. However, would it herald then end for our Nigel tho? i think so, sadly. Is it because of a contractual stalemate? i'd hate to see Nige leave because i think he still has a home at City and can make a huge difference. Especially in January. Maybe i'm just being emotional about it and not factual...

I'd swap him for Nige tomorrow. Twice the player imo.

Plus, the slimey iranian cunt should have ZERO involvement in our club and Nige can fuck off now if he's not willing to cut all ties with him.

I meant De Rossi in my post but for some reason missed out the 'De'. I don't think that would be the end for DeJong, just that Yaya could have a few more days off.

I actually think Fellaini would not be the worst thing that happened to us. Can play center back, used to playing with Kompany there and can play both defensive midfielder and like yaya alittle further up.

That being said there are many players of better quality out there and he just signed a 5year contract so he is not coming... just saying he would not be the worst thing I think:-)

I was thinking just that very thing. He is 29 and so would only be a relatively short term fix.

Subotic would be awesome partner for Kompany. Kjaer looks fantastic talent with some flaws in his game.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
