We have played somewhere around 30 games this seasom Pal and you pick out 2 as though defining that as our normal form. I don't suppose that any team, Barca included goes through that many games without the odd blip here and there.
There have been so many games when we have been awesome.

I don't suppose we are anywhere near Barca yet, nor would I expect us to be. I do yhink Ted's appraisal is relevent though, as they are the ultimate target we are aiming for.

John, thanks,Ted is entitled to his, I am pointing out lack of a pass from the back, if Ted or you cannot see that fine, what other examples would I give Cavvani did manage VK 2nd half which killed us,both Barca defenders are top draw or are Barca and Spain getting it wrong, thanks Hazy.

I've made no comment on whether we could be improved by passing from the back, I'm 100% sure we could, if we could find a defender who could do it & also defend. I've not said that their CB's can't do it either (but I wouldn't fancy either as defenders in the prem). What I've commented on is that Barca's CB's didn't do any clever passing or anything ours can't do when I watched them v Real Madrid, it was 100% down to how the midfield play. It was proof you can still play like Barca without any fancy passing from the CB's. I think that's one of the keys to us performing as a team; our midfield do the same on a good day but on a bad day, they leave the CB's with too much time on the ball & nowhere to go.

He also predicted tiredeness and injuries which have also happened this squad has been at full pelt for 4 years for both club and Country in which time he has also blooded 25 players from within at Barca. I am a City fan I also happen to see Barca live a lot. My point is we will play our way to be champs or we will fail, Nerves are partly due to no VK at the back, JL has to lead the B4 as he is the main man.

Brilliant as he is; he's still only human. Barca's teamwork has been fantastic & has set a new level but when a side comes along who can pass the ball but also have a plan B & C, that will be the next team everyone wants to emulate. They are the best for a long time but still a long way from being perfect. Football can still evolve much further.

On a daft note I suppose the warm up at Wembley the passing movements we see at City "Keep ball was so good if you were a rag glancing at that you would have been terrified" They had that game won, the minute the rags energy levels dropped a fraction no pressure on the ball you get mullered Ted.Composure is the key and one of the crumbs the rags are holding onto, better teams than the rags have lost out to them with panic and nerves killing your own game. Alexis is the start of a plan B for them mate winger like Henry going down the middle as he gets wiser. to be fair, abidal bombing on wouldnt have worried anyone even though he scored what proved to be the winner, 2 goals in 3 years!
