That's what kieron dyer just said on goals on sunday about mark hughes.

Would make sense as to why he left fulham but would have been a strange appointment...

How would Dyer know? i dont get it. To be honest though there werent(and still arent) an array of top class managers available so if they didnt get AVB it wouldnt of been the most far fetched idea.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He would've made great boot boy there. No one shines boots like him. Especially in the second half of the season.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Hughes was available for free. AVB was available for £13M. They chose AVB. Tells you all you need to know about how prized Hughes was.

Then he told them he wanted 60 million to spend on Roque Santa Cruz, Wayne Bridge and Jo.

That pretty much sums it up.
