But as for Charlie Adams ,does he only know how to foul?

Whatever though good to see the scum go out even if it would have been better to go to a replay before doing it with lots of injuries.

Exactly doug, we should be commending Halsey for the way he's reffed that game. Shows foy and dowd how it should be done

With Suarez coming back the deluded Scousers will no doubt believe the domestic treble is back on.

Yeah Cardiff should easily be able to cope with their long ball tactics.

I thought Evra was awful throughout the game today.

I was hoping for that too Doug. A few injuries and a couple of red cards (for both teams) thrown in would have been very nice !
Still can't be too dissappointed at seeing thr Scum lose (any day).

Taking into account the two teams who were playing, are they certain it wasn't actually an ape ?

I was actually impressed with the ref. Allowed play to go on, didn't fall for any soft decisions and also didn't give a card any time a player made a challenge. Allowed the game to flow.

I would have been proud of that, it was a great flick on & a great finish.

The scousers could have scored about 5 more if they'd had Giggs or Valencia. The number of wasted opportunities by Downing was beyond ridiculous. The bloke is fucking blind.

A replay would have been much better for us. Like on Wed, the fans will be gutted but Utd's players & management will be more pissed off if Liverpool get a point at OT.

No doubt they got up well and it was a good finish, but if United had defended properly then it would have just been another hopeful lumped ball up front.

Perhaps I've been a bit disingenuous towards Liverpool, tbut I don't think either team played particularly good football.

Talking of good flick ons, great header by all de Gea no idea, top finish! Oh how we laughed. Watched it with four Scouse fans. All good fun apart from having to tear them to pieces a couple of times about refereeing decisions. Then we felled three big, real trees. Ace.

Looked like both he & the media ignored a blatant two footed challenge by Rodrigues to me. We would have 7 or 8 yellows plus a red & a penalty against us if we'd played the same game as Liverpool. Barry, Mario, Clichy have all been sent off for performances no different to some of the rag & Liverpool players today. Because they are playing each other, the ref is super lenient so as not to upset either.

horrible game, nice outcome.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Wonder when the media will now start criticising scum as they have with us for creating extra pressure on themselves now they only have second place in prem to play for?

But that's how reffing should be. Lenient. It's a contact sport. There has been dreadful referreing against us and more consitency is needed but i'd 100 times prefer a leninet ref like today than one who stops play and gives a booking for every tackle.

a little off topic but if you think that was bad you should have seen the kick in the face a player got for Brighton, im in france so couldn't understand what was said but they showed it enough. How the barcodes got away with it i dont know. Lets see if he gets banned tomorrow like Balo.

I did notice a shocking bit of defending by Herman Munster when he should have cleared a hopeful ball into the box but miskicked it,got a nice touch on his arm, fell over and somehow got away with it.
