Pizzarro

Why can't he get a look in?? Today was the perfect opportunity, against a toothless villa squad set out to park the bus. We could have used his creativity from deep.

I thought about it when it was 0-0 and Villa didn't pose any kind of threat to us.. but maybe it's better to bring him on against Blackburn when we're hopefully up with a couple of goals

No....but yes

I think that we should definitely use the small painter and decorator BUT he needs to come on when we are in the lead comfortably (either via score or run of play) and when we are pressing higher up the pitch generally.

If we do that and use him as a deep-lying pressure release then his usefulness on the ball and range of passing will have time to find its range and be useful

If we put him in a game like today in the last 25-30 mins when totally inviting them onto us then not only is that not his game but we might ruin the possible benefits of recruiting him as the crowd will think "he's shit"....as he hasn't had time to find his feet WHILST trying to play a role which is NOT his best

I don't agree with the OP. Not getting a look in? He has been in England for about 7 days ffs, unfit, huge injuries this season, away from home, clearly a game plan to be played (no matter how shit). I really don't think there was any need to start Pizzarro or bring him on. He isn't use to his team mates, or the league, its a big game away from home that we really needed to win.

At home to Bolton or Wolves, 2-0 up, 20 mins left, yes please, lets see what he can do. He is clearly here as cover until the end of the season / Yaya gets back ( which will be the next league game anyway!)

Sounds like OP has the sort of opinions that wind me up, and alot of others on here, yea its fun to over react in the games and let off some tension by giving a player abit of a ribbing. But after a game when you are thinking more clearly, you come up with something like that, its crazy talk, the sort of thing you get on a Scum or Chelsea forum.
