He looks to have settled in a bit! Winning friends and influencing people on the bench, dishing out the fruit pastilles, and then carving it up on the park. Well pleased for him.

Wasn't getting carried away. But let's not be too dour about a quality little cameo; I rather enjoyed it.

And he has one of, if not the best surnames, to say in an exaggerated Manc accent.

It was good how pleased the team seemed for him when he set Silva's up. De Jong was beaming and pointing at the name on the back of his shirt to the family stand. He's clearly a popular part of the team, no matter how much the press might not like that.
