Excellent play today....was a threat from the moment he came on and deserves his won thread.

Well done.

Yes he was a threat to his own side, falling over (again) and letting the Bolton winger in. Or is there a touch of irony in the above, Carl?

Unfortunately I'm with bobby here. Unless there's a touch of irony in the above, Bobby?

to me he looked out of place at RB and I hope Zabba and Micah are both fit for the next game

No irony..and he allowed a Bolton winger in once.....same as Lescott did on his side.

About falling over..I think 5 City players did that.

Kolo did fall over but that was his only failing he was full of energy today and kept making runs. I thought he played very well and warrants a shout out for his performance. Well done kolo

He looks quick despite having perceptible tits. That's always impressive.

Well said Bob. His step-overs and silky feet were a sight to behold and had us laughing throughout the game. He's clearly been watching Micah doing those surging runs and wanted to get in on the act. I thought he played very well out of position.

I was impressed, good runs and attacking play, good footwork at times. Mostly dealt with that tricky winger. For an out of position sub he gets top marks from me. good shout carl.

Did Komps start to compete with his surging.. or was that just my imagination ?

I hope he doesn't read this. Might get back on the diet pills! Apparently he is sensitive and obsessed with looking fit.

But yeah, also thought he was good out of position today. Not that it was against anyone great or anything but he did have some nice passages going forward and other than the slip was OK vs a quick player.

wonder why Savic didnt make the bench..he couldve gone in at right back...although what Kolo did today on the right is probably better than what Savic couldve produced.

Kolo was very good going forward. He was our only threat down the right hand side as AJ was completely anonymous as usual.

Defensively, he still worries me but did pretty well against the Bolton winger. Kolo isn't good enough to start but is a good back-up.

He started out as a striker or something, didn't he? Now that Kompany/Lescott is the established CB pair, it's great to have him in the squad - completely agree with Carl.

Any news on Zaba's injury? He's been great the last few weeks as well.

Cos he's not good enough. You can add a "yet" to that sentence if you like.

Well done, Koles. Very happy indeed with that performance and he looked to be enjoying himself as well, which is nice considering we are under such "pressure".
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

I think he just got caught out when he first came on because he was a bit rusty. Once he settled into the game, he caused Bolton more problems in an attacking role than their winger caused him. If he came up against a tricky AJ type character it could be different but he did well against pace & looked a very good Micah replacement. If he was English & did that once for Spurs or rags, he'd be in the England squad as a right back.

Btw, I believe Savic cost his team a goal by being stood yards behind the rest of the Montenegro defence playing everyone onside whilst playing right back midweek, so he may be clueless there as well. Kolo looks a better bet.

Thought he did ok. At times he looked like a centre half playing at right back as his position and body position were all wrong, but hopefully they'll train him on it as it looked like Zabba could be out for a few weeks and Micah seems more brittle than Bellamy ever was.
