Hahahaha I just clocked that excerpt from one of my rants. You daft sod.

I think we'll be fine. I'd fancy us against them any day now and they'll have to come to our place and win if they want the title. Not long left - and it's in our hands.

guilty of copyright breach. my neck is under your axe.

Scum lost against Blackburn at home, and Newcastle away.

They have done really well against the top 5, except us.

The derby wont decide the league but the result will be critical.

Scum will fuck up, and so will we. They are achieving more than they should and at some point they WILL fuck up.

Chelsea changing manager wont do us any favours even though we are at home. We need everyone fit for that.

I am bricking it after yesterday's result at WHL.

When I looked at the fixtures 6 weeks ago, I thought United would get 5-6 points out of games against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs. They got 10, and arguably the game they drew againist Chelsea, although they were 3-0 down they were the much better side.

My biggest concern is their upcoming fixtures and ours. I cannot see them not winning every one of them. Looking at their away games, where you hope they might stumble, they have Wolves, Blackburn and Wigan - none of which I can see doing anything.

Our games - some very tough ones away at Stoke for a half 5 ko, away to Arsenal, it just looks like trouble.

I really thought we needed a 4-5 point lead over them going into the last 10 games or so and we couldn't have done much more but their form in terms of results rather performances has been unbelievably good.

If we were challenging against any other team other than United, i'd be more confident but I am worried, very worried.

You aren't in the slightest bit concerned then that they've come out of those games with 10 points out of 12? That they've got 8 very winnable games coming up before they arrive at Eastlands on April 30th?

all we need to do to win the league is to be more clinical in front of goal. we create enough chances (15/20 on average home & away), we just don't convert them as well the rags. versus blackburn and bolton, we had a combined 43 attempts on goal, 23 of them on target which saw us score 5 goals.
vs norwich and spuds, they had 17 attempts, 14 on target scoring 5....

It's a good point. In the Tele stats City are top of the 'total number of shots' table. Scum aren't even in the top 5.

Sometimes I think Dzeko misses the wrong games. Saturday he would've had about 6. Hope he is penned in to play with Agüero on Thursday for his sake, and it wasn't just another 'indulge Mario' selection. Made prior to the publication of his latest antics of course.

Interesting point that, I like ... or rather don't like that sort of wastefulness. Having said that, they let in 2 goal and we didn't over those 2 sets of games .....

i know the mayor of ex-pat city answered in my stead, but he's fucking right. As usual.

Shouldn't they be more afraid that we look fucking unbeatable? Fergie must be shitting his pants. If he [strike]someone[/strike] someHOW lucks/cheats his way into winning it this year he seriously may need to retire or risk having City take him down. He won't survive this. The city is ours .he writing is on the wall. The speed of our ascension is unparalleled and he knows it. He fears Roberto and probably wishes he would die. I believe that.

Why should I worry? Things are better than they have ever been for a City fan of my generation. Whether the title comes this year, next year or the one after, it is coming.

This is how I feel. The media like to pretend we've GOT to win it this season or we'll be mentally scarred forever but that's a load of horseshit. If we did miss it, we'd just come back stronger next season & the rags would have to repeat their remarkable level of stuffiness just to compete.

We are two points clear though, so there is absolutely no reason we shouldn't do it this time.

Not worried at all. If they win the league so be it, we aren't going anywhere and the improvement on last year is massive, it will happen this year and if it doesn't it isn't far away at all.

Supporting City at the moment is like a dream, I never thought i'd see this, so i'm not going to get my knickers in a twist if we finish 2nd after how excellent we've been this season.

Indeed, my chrome-domed chum.

You'd have thought they were the ones with the financial muscle to kick on next year. Or that their manager was a young, up-and-coming genius and not a whiskey-soaked old cunt with Alzheimer's and a damp mattress. Or that it was us who wasted 19 million quid on a goalie with bumfluff who can't fucking catch. Or that it was them who were cruising through matches, able to give their players a mental rest from the half-hour mark week after week.

They way they have to talk themselves up (and get their sycophants in the media to do similar) because they realise they are not actually as good, either as a team or individually, as little City is actually quite amusing.

i just did the BBC Predictor and we've won the fucking league.

Both on 89 pts...us on goal difference by +9.

Basically, it comes down to our head to head match. Win it and we win. Lose it and we lose. What better story could you have asked for back in August? Answer: NONE! Come on CITY.

Lock this thread please....it's done and dusted.
