Good move for both. Poyet tries to get the side playing decent football - hope they get some game time.

For all the supporters of other teams on their league, that name playing for Brighton is almost too good to be true.

They are gonna love Gai Assulin down in Brighton, for so many reasons.

Good luck to both the lads.

Apparently they do... as they want to tie him up for rest of the season

From that earlier thread, brighton fans seem to think Razak is the best player they've seen for Brighton in a decade (not even including his age). And heres a video from the OS:

Rekik and Scapuzzi join Pompey on a one month loan. Didn't see these coming! Especially surprised by the Rekik loan.
Hope they get to play

Very interesting re Rekik. To be going on loan at such an age really does suggest to me they think very highly of him and there surely is no point if he isnt going to play. Not fussed about Scapuzzi.

I assume with this loan we pay all the wages, not that it would be a big amount but assume thats the only way Pompey can sign players? They had a great win against birmingham on wednesday and have some decent players so will do them no harm. getting thrown into a relegation battle in prob the most competitve league in the world at 17 will do rekik no harm at all!
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imo, loan deals for players to the lower clubs are a really good thing for us but if the scouting/coaching system in this country was any good, it wouldn't be neccessary. There are loads of kids out there who had/have basic talent who never got a chance because they were too small, not fast enough or didn't know the right people.

From City's point of view, the more clubs we can get an agreement with, the better. It will encourage kids to sign with us because even if they don't make it at City, they get a chance to prove themselves elsewhere & have a career.

Scapuzzi on at 83mins. Rekik on the bench today.
Razak started the game on the bench but he came on too on 78th minute.

btw why is there only 5 subs in Championship?
