I understand that things like that happen, but that stupidity will cost us in the rag press, who will murder us and again and we will have articles about how horrible is the relation between our players and the other things that they were saying since our change in 2008.

If Mancini thinks it was the right thing to do then we'll have to trust him. We'll find out if he was right in the next few hours. Somewhere inside Mario is a quality footballer just trying to get out. If it emerges for the rest of the season, the title would be ours.
I'd also agree with Ted that although Mario hasn't done much of quality, his work rate recently has been much better. Even the free kick against Lisbon was as a result of him tracking back. I can live with poor form if the effort is there as the form will eventually return.

Well despite what he said, it didn't have a positive effect. Really am losing the last of my patience with Mario.
There is no one in world football I'd rather have taking a penalty. If we have one in the last minute against QPR to win the league, as Mario walks up I'll be texting my rag mates to shove it down their throats.
His goal was great. Not sue if it took a deflection as the keeper didn't move, but did brilliantly to make the space and get it away regardless.
For the other 89 and a half minutes, he was hopeless, anonymous. He wasn't the only one, but I'll slag them off elsewhere. Granted if we'd actually defended, his two goals at home should have been more than enough to win a game, but the stropping, sitting down, arguing and general pack of interest isn't good enough.
Add to the outgoing list for summer.
