Seems to me like a lot of players be scoring in the Dutch League, but then become less prolific when moving abroad.

First of all, he is kind old to me. Add to that, he failed miserably in Spain and Italy, I don't think he will have any better time in PL.

As You said he has failed miserably in the other 2 major leagues (softer than PL), I saw him play at Milan several times and never impressed very much. If most of us are puzzled about Edin, I cannot really see how he can drive us forward.
