No more requests for Mourinho as new City manager after yesterday, please! He's tactically poor as Big Fat Sam or Hughesy, we neednt' to become the most richest and most hated football club too!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

It would be a touch ironic wouldn't it.

Real were disappointing at home, I thought they would commit more than they did considering the players they have. Seemed too wary of Bayern or they had decided from the first leg that Bayern were the better team, so they had best keep it tight and try and steal it. They also played quite poorly at times, a lot of miss placed passes when not even under pressure. Bayern looked like they wanted it more and apart form the last 10 of normal time Real seemed happy to sit back a bit, in fact they never really went for it at all. Poor.

The international players' union has issued a plea for clemency by UEFA for six Chelsea and Bayern Munich players suspended for the Champions League final.

The Chelsea players are Branislav Ivanovic, Ramires and Raul Meireles, with Luiz Gustavo, David Alaba and Holger Badstuber from Bayern.
FIFPro spokesman Simon Barker said: "Anybody committing a serious offence in the semi-final should be awarded a red card and miss the final.
"But the offences that result in a yellow card do not justify the serious punishment of missing the match of your life.
"For example, Alaba slipped over and gets the ball kicked against his hand - it is not right that such a player should miss the Champions League final because of this.
"Some people say that this will give players the licence to kick all and sundry during the semi-final, but that is utter nonsense.
"Any serious offence will result in a red card and that still means exclusion from the final."
John Terry was sent off for kneeing Alexis Sanchez in the second leg and will be suspended for the final.

haha...no chance! this happens every year, teams whinging about players missing out due to yellows. they all knew the rule before they played the semi. stupid rule, perhaps, but it is what it is.

I hope Chelsea go on to win this but its a bit of a win win for me. If Munich win atleast we can say we were the only side to beat them and we had the champions in our group.

One thing I noticed. Real Madrid fans are so much better than Barca fans. They were so much louder. Barca reminded me of the Rags. Loads through the gates and fook all noise. Prob full of tourests as well.

I thought they were beaten 1-0 by Basel in the first leg in the knockout stage.

And Real beat them 2-1 at home (which led to extra time and penalties).
